My watercolour and gouache maps are unique treasures that fuse representation with emotion, so that the result is a map that is grounded in streets and landmarks but filled with the colour and visual symbolism that makes the location special to you. Maps are regularly comissioned to mark anniversaries, capturing the locations of love, to honor legacy of family towns and to capture the free spirit of travel.
The ordering process is simple and straight forward. Simply choose your artwork type and size from the drop down menu, make the purchase and then email through your completed questionnaire and order pack (download here), complete with any reference photos. I will sketch a draft for you to approve before painting your special piece. It is recommended you read the questionnaire and order pack prior to purchase.
Please allow 1-2 months for your artwork to be complete. If you require a particular completion date within that time frame please get in touch.
Please note that custom artworks are non refundable and the completed questionnaire must be recieved via email within 7 days of booking. Failure to send through the questionnaire will forfeit your booking and you will be refunded your purchase minus a 50% booking and process fee.
Custom Handpainted Illustrated Map
All custom and comissioned artworks are handpainted on high quality 300gsm cotton paper using gouache and watercolour paint. They are beautifully wrapped, securely packed and can be shipped worldwide. Framing is not provided.
All fine art prints are reproduced and printed on uncoated, smooth 310gsm cotton blend paper. The texture closely resembles the original water colour paper giving a luxe and authentic feel.
